Irish Language Retreat Centre Fundraiser

In 2025 we successfully managed to purchase a home for ourselves, for our growing family and our growing community. Teacht Aniar wil be a place for our children to be nurtured as well as being a home for our work in the world.

Initially there was a language focus on our efforts, a sense of duty for the protection of the language, a language that has blessed us with so much.

However there has been a gradual shift in our aims for Teacht Aniar.

Our sense is language protection as end-goal. Rather the return of the language as a necessary step on the way toward a more symbiotic relationship with the natural world around us as well as the inner world within us.

English as a language has served us well and will continue to do so in terms of the structuring of an international community.

However our offering to that international community is encoded in the Irish language and so it is on our great space journey to the earth that we re-engage with our native tongue, a language that understands us, as well as the flora, fauna and unseen things that surround us.

There are still some products for sale on the fundrazr if you would like to assist us in our efforts.

We will also gratefully receive donations of materials, skills and ideas of any kind that may contribute to the building of this place.
